Drawn from vintage photographs, family lore, and personal experience, these works celebrate the unfiltered honesty of being human. Whether it’s kids falling off paddle boards, waiting for a cyclone that arrives late and not as promised, or roller-skating into nostalgia, the series invites viewers to step into someone else’s shirt — and maybe recognize their own.
“In This Shirt” is a visual diary of the everyday and the absurd, the tender and the ridiculous. From curb side chaos and chicken pox parties to hospital waiting rooms and soggy self reflection, each painting captures a scene from life’s wardrobe — oversized, mismatched, occasionally damp, but always worn with feeling.
