Three people. One hospital waiting room. Infinite emotional spirals. Inspired by that unforgettable day when we sat waiting to hear news about our son, this painting captures the full spectrum of feelings: worry, hope, frustration, boredom - and the guilt of feeling bored while worrying. It’s a portrait of humans doing what humans do best in high-stakes situations: overthinking, under-snacking, and silently judging the décor. Because sometimes, reflection comes with fluorescent lighting and very bad coffee.
